What We Shall Do

Alright my friends and I want to help this holiday season in any way possible. Our plan is to do 25 good deeds. One for every day till Christmas in December. Our deeds will vary from Bake sales, to caroling. If you would like to help out please comment!

Riley,
Thanks for being willing to take on this challenge. Giving is something that causes a person to grow. Thanks for the adventure.

Hi Riley,

Greetings from Singapore.

I think it is great that your class is doing the 25 days of good deeds.

Think of people who in your community might not have someone to talk to. An old people's home can be a place to start. The Christmas holidays are times when one is often with family, and those without family feel very left out. If you give up one afternoon a week as you lead up to christmas to visit someone who seldom receives visits. You'll make their year. And who knows? You might learn something too.

I think visiting an old people's home could be a good idea. Ask some of the older people what they did for Christmas when they were growing up. I think you'll be surprised to find out how different the world was before there was TV! Of course there are lots of ways to make people smile. Good luck and please write again about your activities.

Best,
